AETEA buys ecipient TechnologiesAETEA Information Technology, a well-established market leader with over 25 years of experience providing professional IT consulting services, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire ecipient Technologies (ecipient).

Located in Baltimore, MD, Ecipient Technologies provides information technology consulting services in the areas of enterprise application development, systems integration, enterprise reporting and analytics to leading commercial organizations, as well as federal, state and local governments.

In addition, the company is a leading provider of web-based application development solutions in Microsoft .Net, Java/J2EE and other leading technologies using its "best fit" technology method.

Post acquisition, ecipient will join AETEA's Solutions Group, headquartered in Rockville, MD.

However, the company did not disclose the amount paid for the acquisition.
