Bleach Based Disinfectants Wipes Off Norovirus

As we know, the commercial disinfectants that we use to clean surfaces are all effective. But after looking at the studies done by the researchers at Quebec City's Laval University, we see that 40%of these disinfectants are not able to eliminate all the viruses found at home.

More than half of these viruses are responsible for our food spoilage. These viruses are known as norovirus, which spread through an infected person or maybe contaminated food or surface.

It has been seen by the researcher that the bleach based disinfectants are much more effective than other alcohol based and ammonium based disinfectants to clean these viruses. It had also been seen that these alcohol and ammonium based disinfectants are 100 times less effective than a simple mixture of water and bleach.

According to lead researcher Julie Jean, these types of viruses can contaminate anyone who comes in contact with them and are mostly found on stainless steel surfaces and other surface.
