A Review of Metro 2033
A Review of Metro 2033

The latest title Metro 2033, from the house of 4A Games, has been set in post-apocalyptic Moscow, and the city's vast and expensive metro system seems to serve as humanity's last refuge from the potentially killer and toxic wastelands that the entire world's surface has managed to become.

In this interesting and gritty first-person shooter title, players will be required to take care of tasks which would require them to venture into the dangerous, confusing and frightening underground world, in the hopes of trying to offer protection to humanity, in order to avoid a possibility of annihilation.

Metro 2033 has been based on a Russian sci-fi novel, and is essentially a post-apocalyptic, first-person shooter, which seems to have a "scary vibe".

Although the title has some pretty good ideas and mechanics behind it, it does not come out as something which is as scary as the developers wanted it to be.

The basis of the novel is the 2002 sci-fi novel by Dmitry Glukhovsky.
