Gold Coast Detected to Have E-Coli Contamination

The Gold Coast Water spokesman has uncovered that the E-coli (Escherichia coli) outbreak bacteria was being detected during the routine testing.

Nerang residents living on the Gold Coast are being currently warned not to drink the tap water and it should be consumed after boiling, for the next three days, after an E coli outbreak was detected during an everyday test.

It is believed high levels of E coli in the nearby water supply have rendered more than 2500 homes at risk.

It is revealed that the Gold Coast Water is still in process of investigations and water testing.

Affected residents in Nerang who live along the west of the railway line and north of the Nerang River are believed to be highly affected.
