WikiLeaks Website- A Potential Danger to U.S Army

A report issued Monday by US Army Counterintelligence Center reveals that the whistleblower website WikiLeaks is a potential threat to safeguarding of troops, protecting sensitive information, and "operational security" as it posts classified intelligence information.

The 2008 military analysis published this week on the WikiLeaks website, the latest document posted on the site that look forward to disclose information governments and companies try to keep from public view.

"Such information could be of value to foreign intelligence and security services (FISS), foreign military forces, foreign insurgents, and foreign terrorist groups for collecting information or for planning attacks against U. S. force, both within the United States and abroad", the document posts.

In addition, the report reveals that the website uncovered 2000 pages of documents, giving precise details of military equipment in Iraq and Afghanistan from April 2007, while posing them as "nearly the entire order of battle".

Tallman claims that the military calls for safeguarding sensitive information and is completely aims to prevent leaks that could endanger US forces or national security.
