Models Tend to Set “Unachievable” Body Standards

It is quite simple to say that a woman has not received her fair share of equality. The one area where women could really use some equality is in marketing as pictures of models are reducing the self - esteem of apparently normal women at a very fast pace.

This is not the case for women with an eating disorder due to highly emotional problems. This is a fact for even ordinary women and most women feel their self - esteem droop even lower every time they see a magazine with an anorexic model in it.

The simple psychology of women is that if they are thin and watch a picture of a thin model, they invariably feel absolutely great because they can easily relate to the picture but if it is a heavier model, they just feel small and that too is a problem.

All in all, no matter the size of the model, some damage happens every time a model is spotted. Somehow, such airbrushed models are not to determine the self - esteem of a woman and the simple fact is that a woman is to be called beautiful or pretty because of the character in their features and not their structure or how much they weigh.
