Rest In Peace Social Media
Rest In Peace Social Media

It is becoming more and more clear that Twitter, Facebook and many such wannabes all around are just a coal mine in the marketing field and nothing more. All try to make themselves the social media platform with new things day by day but in the core they are just opportunities for making more dollars and at the end of the day, it is just a business model which plays on the idea of social networking.

By making this aspect a huge money grosser, these self called social media experts have taken the fun out of social networking and have simply spoiled what could have and would have been a turning point in the society. The simple thing they have done is gotten the companies interested in having followers and such things and convincing them that it is the best thing that could happen to them.

It was supposed to be a platform for different cultures to come together and to have conversations with people you knew and didn't and to learn new things making effective changes that would have been very good for the society as a whole. But now it is just companies trying to sell us more things we don't really need.
