Merkel Advice Greece to have Disciplined Budget

In order to suppress the rumors regarding the ongoing tiff between German Chancellor Angela Merkel and her Finance Minister, the former stated that budget with intense disciplinary measures was needed budget as she backs the European Union aid to Greece.

The statement was confirmed by a Government spokesman. It has been reportedly said that Merkel has not yet decided about supporting the EU aid. She stated that it has not yet been finalized whether or not the extended help by International Monetary Fund will be accepted.

Disagreeing with the report which cited the Finance Chief ordering his staff not to act on any information received from the chancellery staff until the information is approved by him, German government wanted to interfere and hence solve the Merkel and Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble cold war.

The Government press office sated yesterday that it nothing like what was reported. The statement disclosed, “An intensive exchange occurs daily between the chancellor and the finance minister along with their ministries on Greece”.

Merkel’s words underline the opinion tussle in the Government within itself as well as among European leaders. Germany is witnessing immense opposition by the public, prior to the Brussels EU summit which is scheduled to take place on March 25-26.

The Germen spokesman Wilhelm, on the other hand, said that Greece was in a better financial condition and that the problems can be handled well without any external assistance.
