The American Cancer Society Relay to Benefit from Spaghetti Supper

Molly Day, American Cancer Society, Community Representative said that the Relay is more than just a fundraiser. It has something for everyone.

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life, Teams of Columbus and Fall River are hosting a spaghetti supper next Saturday, March 27, from 4 to 7 p. m., at the Columbus Senior Center.

The expenditure for adults aged 12 and over is $5. The cost for children ages 4 to 11 is $3. Children ages 3 and under will eat for free.

Profits from the occasion will be donated to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life, set for July 16 and 17 at the Columbus High School track.

The event includes teams of eight to 15 people who take turns walking, running or strolling around a track during an 18-hour time period. Each team takes part in fundraising, throughout the year and team totals are pronounced at the end of the event. Funds raised are donated to the American Cancer Society and used for research, programs and support.

Area businesses are welcome to contribute through various funding opportunities ranging from $50 to $3,000.
