Two young boys robbed a cancerous man, aged 69, and absconded with his trousers and wallet. Angelo Favaro was robbed while he was asleep at his Perth home on Saturday.
At about 10.30am, he was woken up by his front doorbell. He found nobody at the door, according to a police Spokesperson, Ros Weatherall.
Ms. Weatherall said, “The victim heard a noise coming from the back of his house and upon inspection saw two boys in the rear yard who had kicked in the laundry door of the house”.
As per what the spokesperson said, the victim approached the boys, aged between 11 and 13, and told them to leave, but an alteration took place.
They knocked the victim to the ground and took off his trousers, which had a wallet in its pocket, containing $350. They jumped over his fence and fled.
Mr. Favaro has been stirred by this suffering. He said, “I hit my mouth on the concrete. They hit me on the neck and my mouth. I was having nightmares all night, hearing big bangs in my head”.
