PepsiCo Confirms Forecast Figures

PepsiCo Inc. has affirmed the forecast of the company's long-term earnings. The company is also making attempts at increasing its revenue overseas.

PepsiCo, which is the world's second-largest food and beverage company, claimed that it anticipates that its earnings for the year 2010 will register a growth of 11 -13%. It will also show a low-double-digit profit growth for 2011 and
2012.

It is also important to note that these figures have been predicted on a core constant currency basis, which excludes certain items.

It has been revealed that PepsiCo wishes to enhance its global returns by two times the real global GDP growth rate. The company also desires to achieve market share of the top 20 markets for its snacks and liquid refreshment beverage section.

It is also expected that since now PepsiCo's owns its bottlers namely Pepsi Bottling Group and PepiAmerica, the company will now market its snacks more closely with its beverages. Frito-Lay is the company's snack producing unit.

A two day investor meeting will be held by PepsiCo at the Yankee Stadium in New York. The meeting will start on Monday.
