It has been reported that the treasury secretary announced in front of the congressional panel that the future of the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac seem to be quite good and it was quite evident that he backed the reshaping and he also made it clear that the current administration might as well keep in place some of the aspects which have been working quite well and it was also made certain that the part which don't match the current system might be changed.
It was also reported that Fannie and Freddie, which are called to be the giants when mortgage - finance is considered, used to be the envy of the world in many ways for the past many decades and it is quite clear that all the good things which made others envy the company will definitely be retained when it has been reshaped but then they had reported that a basic change will be made in the fundamentals.
A good economic case is expected which is probably quite good for the public case ending their relationship with the housing subsidies.
