Drug Raid in St. Catharine’s, Residents Complained of Marijuana Cultivation

Police raided St. Catharine's recently which resulted into two Niagara residents facing drug charges. According to the regional police, people at an area elementary school had complained about an adjacent property smelling like the drug marijuana.

The home was raided by the police on March 19 and marijuana was found being grown in the basement. Police has so far discovered 219 marijuana plants which cost around $219,000. The machines used for growing the drug were also seized.

The name of the accused are Carlos Ferreira, 42, and Rachelle Fuleki, 39, both belong to St. Catharine's.
