Celebrating the success of four weeks, as Florida legislators reached midway in its 60-day session, the Republicans are having a victorious time as they have been hitting the ruling party for enormous climbs in unemployment taxes and are keen to clear $80 million for business tax splits. The party has also managed to pass declaration campaigns against rising shortfall in Washington and the historic healthcare reform law.
They’ve also cleared ideas for to ending teacher’s tenure, new boundaries on lawsuits and a demand of more defenses for gun owners.
On the other hand, the Democrats are having a bad time as these four weeks have brought about huge opposition resulting in their plans being rubbed out.
Among the laws and the bills that the Republican Party supporters are denying to adopt are anti-corruption measures. These measures were expected to easily put on trial public officials if caught taking bribes or other favors, restrict the legislators voting on bills for personal achievements and elevate the criminal punishment for public officials unable to reveal financial information when required.
Representative Keith Fitzgerald, a Sarasota Democrat said that the nation was suffering from lack of faith in their political system and that the oppositions proved this.
