For the people who are planning to buy Nintendo's DSi XL, which is all set to mark its entry in North America tomorrow, it is worth alarm, that DSiWare games purchased for DSi will prove non-transferable to DSi XL. If the users want to play it, the same has to be bought again.
Nintendo DSi XL costs $199.99 and is a fourth-iteration, hand-held, dual-touch-screen gaming machine which comes with an intention of shrinking the portable electronic machines into its smallest possible version. Nintendo DSi XL measures 161 mm x 91.4 mm x 21.2 mm, with a weight of 314 grams and has 4.2-inch screens along with more built-in software.
It was disclosed by a Nintendo Spokesperson, who confirmed about this restriction to Kotaku and stated that the topic is being considered for solutions but nothing has been finalized as yet.
The problem probably is that Nintendo possess no sustainable account of transferring or connecting other hardware, resulting in no explanation for gamers.
This limitation has created a bad situation for customers, at least till the time Nintendo comes up with a solution to this problem. Nintendo just has one solution for the gamers who wish to use the new handheld device which is to buy the game two times.
