Miley Cyrus, one of the most popular teen sensations of the contemporary times, has announced that she would now be taking a long break from music to concentrate more on movies, after her next album releases in June.

"I've got a record coming out in June and then I'm done. I just want to work in movies. That's what I like and that's what I want to be doing", she shared.

The renowned singer-actress rocketed to international success and became an instant star after she played Hannah Montana, the schoolgirl-turned-secret pop icon. It was a Disney production.

The role of Hannah Montana was offered to Miley when she was a mere 12 years old and last year, she had just one season of the popular show left. She now says she feels "claustrophobic" as she has grown out of the role.

Daughter of the country star Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley has, till date, released three hit albums - Meet Miley Cyrus, Breakout and The Time of Our Lives. Her fourth and last album, I Can't Be Tamed, will be out soon.
