TomTom Announces the New Version of Start Sat-Nav Device

A new version of the Start Sat-Nav device has been launched by TomTom, by the name of Start2.

This device has got the premium features used for navigation such as lane guidance, spoken street names and compatibility with RDS-TMC traffic.

If the customer has a separate receiver and subscription of the course, he would be able to get additional information on the traffic which includes, in case there has been a hold-up, what has happened, the area it affects and the estimated delay.

"The device will also plan an alternative route, helping drivers get to where they want to be on time", explains TomTom's release.

Another feature that is available in this device is TomTom’s IQ Routes and with the regional map, it is available for £119.

The European maps, which are releasing with a UK release on April 1, would be available at a very reasonable price of £139.
