As per a study conducted by the University of Melbourne, with physical exercise in the primary three months of a baby’s delivery, mothers can reduce dangers of postpartum depression by 50%, and on the top of that can also increase their sense of comfort and wellbeing. It means that new moms can now sweat it out or stretch or could indulge in some kind of physical activity to chase away the danger of baby blues with the help of exercising along with their babies.
However, a previous study has found that workouts as easy as pram pushing has the ability to help battle postnatal gloominess, the study at Melbourne's Angliss Hospital found customized work out programs were mainly helpful in averting the baby blues.
It is important for the mothers to exercise and that too safely but it is difficult for them to reach a gym, which sometimes does not even provide the right atmosphere.
Study lead author, Prof. Mary Galea said that it is necessary for new moms to exercise under the right kind of supervisors who very well understand the requirements of postpartum females.
