Mitsubishi Outlander Offers Enhanced S-AWC System

In the background of new cars and crossovers, All Wheel Drive (AWD) is a fully automatic machine, which sends engine power to all four wheels of the vehicle.

The 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander is now in markets with an award-winning S-AWC system.

An AWD vehicle will most probably make driving experience stress-free in almost any weather.

Unlike old 4x4 systems more common in bigger trucks, AWD is lighter, better fuel efficient and needs no driver participation. A few AWD systems, like Mitsubishi's prize-winning Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC), are even contrived to make a considerable improvement to year-round performance.

S-AWC was originally developed and tested for use in Mitsubishi's high-performance Lancer Evolution. Comprised of a network of systems, S-AWC impeccably delivers engine power, braking efforts and electronic stabilization to every wheel on an individual basis.

President and CEO, Mitsubishi Motors Sales of Canada, Koji Soga, says, "Mitsubishi is a company driven to practical engineering solutions that have a direct consumer benefit".

The Super All Wheel Control system employed on the Lancer Evolution is an ideal example.
