iPad Might Take Some Time Coming Home from China

Earlier during the week, Cupertino, California-based Apple began sending out notifications to customers that their pre-ordered iPads are now being prepared to be shipped, and some have actually been packed and sent off. For all those enthusiasts who had pre-order before this week began, Apple has promised that they would get their gadgets on April 03, the day when the iPad hits the stores.

As soon as the announcements were made, excitement buzzed everywhere, including in the town of Shenzhen in China, where the device has been manufactured, and eager customers started continually hitting "refresh" on the UPS tracking site to try and follow the progress of their iPad, which is coming home from China.

Some people are now, however, very worried, as their gadgets seem to be taking way too long to get out of the country.

"I hope I'm not the only person getting anxious that UPS shows my iPad is still in China", tweeted one fan; while another shared, "My iPad was still in China yesterday, according to UPS. Oh where are you iPad? When will I get to pinch and poke and swipe you?".

It seems like Apple would have to try a little harder to get over a thousand iPads to eagerly awaiting customers within the coming 48 hours so that it can fulfill its promise.
