Sky Cherishes Its Fans, Pubs Roll Out 3D Screens

Sky is revealed to have introduced some more facilities for its football fans' viewing experience of late, as the broadcaster has unveiled a new online pub finder service that will enable them to locate 3D-ready locations and relish Premier League clashes there.

UK consumers can now log on to “3D Pubs” section given in Sky’s website to locate the nearest place where they can enjoy viewing their favorite football stars in action.

"More and more people are booking in advance", quoted, James Mawer, Commercial Manager at Walkabout, the chain of Australian-themed bars. "We are going to gauge customer reaction. We've done research which suggests customers will pay £6 or £7".

The broadcaster announces to service 3D broadcasts to pubs for the high voltage clash between Manchester United and Chelsea this Saturday.

The British Beer and Pub Association revealed that the pub trade has been severely wounded by the recession and the smoking ban, taking around 52 closing each week in the first half of 2009.
