It is reported that, Microsoft Corp. strategies to launch the latest array of mobile phones on Monday.
The phone comes with social-networking potential designed for young customers, as part of the company's effort to turn around its struggling mobile-phone policy.
At the Mobile World Congress held in February, Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer spoke on Windows Phone 7.
The new devices are said to be based on a Microsoft expansion project code-named "Pink".
It is said to be accessible in the U. S. by end of this month, through a partnership with Verizon Wireless, the hauler owned by Verizon Communications Inc. and Vodafone Group PLC.
The company's latest phones clearly show that the software creator is getting more intensely concerned in the hardware side of the mobile-phone industry, to create products that offer smoother experiences for users.
It has been said that Sharp Corp. of Japan is manufacturing the devices and Microsoft has designed the software, online services and hardware for the Pink mobile phones.
Instead of getting as directly involved in mobiles as Google Inc., Microsoft chose to work more intimately with wireless carriers to bring the Pink phones to customers.
According to people familiar with the matter, software on the latest Pink phones looks like elements of the Windows Phone 7 software.
But, they also said that devices that run on both technologies are not likely to be capable to run the same applications.
