S60 Based New Touring Race Car by Volvo

Volvo launched its new touring race car which is based on the all-new S60. This is a track-friendly car, which will be raced in the Belgian Touring Car Series, this year. The car is powered by a 410 bhp 3.5L V6 engine.

It is different from the production S60 in its design, as it has a tubular frame design which has a mid-mounted 3.5 liter V6 that looks odd. The rear wheels get power through a 6-speed sequential transmission.

It has 6-pot calipers on all the four corners so that stopping power can be provided, with 380mm discs in the front and 355mm at the back. There are 3-way adjustable dampers, which makes the front suspension independent. There are 3-way onboard adjustable shocks absorbers, down south. This touring car from Belgium will kick off this weekend in Zolder.
