Experts believe that a lot of people from across UK would be more than "keen" to take up the UK's Feed-in tariff scheme, which was recently launched during this month.
Founder of whatgreenhome. com, Gordon Miller, strongly believes that people will be very interested, mainly because of the fact that they "are going to potentially earn money from it, or save money on their electricity bills".
Mr. Miller also stressed that the Government needs to do more and put in more efforts in order to encourage people to make correct and active choices about climate change.
"There is a danger that you could start turning people off the whole eco argument and then they will just see it as something that the government will fix and I think that is a worry", he said.
During this month, the Department of Energy and Climate Change introduced two carbon cutting Government programs, of which Feed-in tariffs are the first.
The second initiative, the Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme is also expected to be popular. It is aimed at helping businesses make better energy saving decisions by offering money off energy which is created through renewable sources.
