Acer Inc. today introduced its 3D monitor solution with a promise to deliver a platform for perfect gaming, movies and image viewing through it.

The new 1080p monitor comes with a Full HD 3D Vision, HDMI connectivity, a refresh rate of 120Hz and 2-millisecond response time. The 3D viewing of the monitor gets enabled by active shutter glasses produced by nVidia, which come associated with the monitor.

The total size of the screen is 23.6 inches with a widescreen. The Company claims that the advanced technology has given proper spacing to width, height and depth.

GD245HQ has also been loaded with Adaptive Contrast Management which is capable of analyzing scenes and adjusting images frame by frame. It has been priced at RRP $699.

The 1080p 3D display delivers 100Hz support with 2ms response time. The HDMI connectivity gets boosted by the gaming experience.

Gaba Cheng, Product Manager for Digital Display, Acer Oceanic Regions said that GD245HQ functions by providing clean acute lines to deliver a high-end picture quality in 3D.

"It's developed primarily to give gamers a fast-moving, high-performance and high impact experience", he said.
