Silverlight 4 to be Launched by Microsoft in the Approaching Week

Microsoft would formally launch Silverlight 4 on 13 April.

Microsoft, which launched the Silverlight 4 Release Candidate at its MIX10 event the previous month, is placing Silverlight 4 as a device in order to develop row of trade applications plus a means to shift the standard Windows Forms and ASP. Net/Ajax into a further contemporary user experience.

Corporate Vice President of Microsoft's .Net Developer Platform, Scott Guthrie, would be delivering the news at the DevConnections seminar in Las Vegas.

It has been a very busy schedule for Guthrie who managed the launch of the Windows Phone 7 development platform in the former month.

Microsoft's alternative of Silverlight -- the full Silverlight programming replica, not a portable edition as the platform for local Windows Phone 7 application development, has sent a charge with the help of the software giant's military of software makers.

Now, Microsoft is giving an opportunity to people who desire to download Windows Phone 7 development, for free of cost.

The package consists of Silverlight, Expression Blend used for Windows Phone and a preview of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Express.
