Among the three $200,000 Aston Martin Rapides in the U. S., the one which is sitting in the circular courtyard of Bloomberg LLC's New York building is different in various aspects.
The new four-door Rapide is a sensuous supermodel which contradicts sedan sensibilities. Its height and smooth-following roofline and characteristic Aston nose and grill. It is a sports car, with two doors.
Aston's designers are masters of line and proportion, working cautiously so that no angle is jarring. The Rapide's doors open slightly upward.
The Rapides' particular shortcoming is its rear bucket seats, which are sculptural covered in fine leather, but not very comfortable to look sit on. Rapide's 470 horsepower is less remarkable as compared to the new Porsche Panamera Turbo's 500 hp.
The top speed of the car is 188 mph. But, the workings of the navigation and stereo system are beyond understanding. Its best feature is its Gisele-worthy looks and the worst is the feeling in your back one suffer from after riding in the rear
