Ford has been able to maintain its top of the chart position in the new car best seller category. It has managed to sustain its crown in March 2010.

According to reports, 23,681 Ford Fiestas were sold, making it the leader in the market.

There is also need to commend Ford on out beating other manufacturers by a large margin of 5692 cars, in the month of March. The car that came in second was also a Ford production. This was the Ford Focus.

The sales of Ford Fiesta, in March 2010, have reached a record high for total monthly Fiesta sales. The figures have exceeded all previous month's sales.

The next in line of winners was the Vauxhall that came in third and fourth with the Astra and Corsa.

It has been noticed that the Ford Fiesta is also the largest selling car in the UK. Reports claim that Ford has shipped more than 35,000 cars in 2010. It is probable that the company is intending to duplicate last year's figures and plans on accomplishing 6-figure annual sales.
