As the iPad is on sale for about a week now, the reality is beginning to change the prelaunch madness.
The Apple iPad 64 gigabyte, Wi-Fi version comes for $699. The same kind of device would be launched later this month by AT&T Inc.’ 3G network, which would cost $829.
In the iPad, the backlight screen works very nicely whether you are sitting in the sun or indoors. Books can be read at anytime of the day whether you are in the gym or in the bus or the car. Books can also be downloaded from the Amazon’s free applications for the iPad.
iPad has a slick like book experience. Rather than turning the pages, the pages slide on the iPad. This feature can be turned off by going into the application settings and turning off the feature called basic reading mode.
The writing part on iPad is not that great. The keyboard that displays on the screen is good for writing short notes but not the whole story.
iPad is missing a mouse, therefore fingers have to be used for formatting and highlighting. The iPad can pair with the blue tooth keyboard whereas it won’t work with the Bluetooth mouse.
Watching movies on an iPad is amazing. High definition movies can be rented from the iTunes store for $4.99. It has been told by a kid that no matter how many iPads Apple sells , this was something genuinely new.
