LG OLED TVs to Cost Less
LG OLED TVs to Cost Less

There is good news for those who had been planning to purchase LGs OLED TV because the prices are expected to slash. The price would be a lot lesser than what Sony is demanding for its 11 in Xel-1 OLED TV.

However, there is a bad news too. One can still afford to buy an enormo LCD screen with LED backlight and all the new features by paying the similar amount of money.

According to an LG spokesperson, the EL9500 will cost between £1500 and £2000. At the lower end of the series, that's approximately half the cost of the £3500 Xel-1.

But it's still extremely high-priced for a 15inch display, and it's not likely to put the screen technology on a route to challenge the market supremacy of LCD. That initial step won't be taken until someone, be it LG, Samsung, Sony or whoever, releases a 32inch screen for less than £2000.

A 15 inch TV may appear a little ridiculous in comparison to the giant screens we're habituated to in the present times, but LG's new baby is definitely an extraordinary television.
