Samsung Introduces 3D Televisions

Samsung is clearly stepping up its game by introducing its new range of full high-definition 3D LED TVs. Now, consumers will be able to bring the whole cinematic experience of 3 dimensional movies in their homes. The new line of televisions is up for sale in Singapore starting today.

The 3D LED C7000 HDTV model makes Samsung the first company to sell 3D TVs fully in HD, locally. The model is offered in 40 inches, 46 inches and 55 inches. It bears multiple 3D standards and is even capable of upscaling standard 2-dimensional content to 3-dimensional images, courtesy of Samsung's built-in hi-tech 3D processor.

But Samsung hasn’t stopped here. Along with the C7000, the TV manufacturer is giving away Samsung BD-C6900, the world's first 3D Blu-ray player, and two pairs of 3D glasses plus “Monsters versus Aliens” 3D Blu-ray DVD.

Mr. Chan Weng Kong, who is thinking of purchasing the 55-inch model, says, “I think the 3D effect feels very real and the price is pretty reasonable as the TV can convert 2D to 3D in real time”.
