On Thursday, Yahoo's Chief Technology Officer Aristotle Balogh resigned from his job because of personal reasons. He joined the company in February 2008.
"While Yahoo has become a family to me in many ways over the last two years, I have a situation with my own family that is difficult and has driven me to make some changes in my life. This job was my dream job, which makes this decision very hard", said Balogh in his statement. He also mentioned that resigned from the job was a tough decision for him.
At Yahoo, he was responsible for the company's product's organization, vision, strategy, design and development of Yahoo's global consumer and advertising product portfolio.
According to Standard & Poor's equity analyst Scott Kessler, Balogh's resigning was one of the multiple losses in recent months.
Broadpoint AmTech analyst Ben Schachter said that the Balogh was highly regarded both internally and externally and it was a loss for them not to have him there.
It was also seen that Balogh resigned shortly after top advertising executive Joanne Bradford left Yahoo last month for closely held Demand Media Inc.
Yahoo's executive vice president for product architecture and strategy, Ash Patel had been working with the company since 1996 and last month he also announced his leaving.
