Thousands of Yemeni women protest against Israeli attacks on Gaza

Sana'a, Yemen - Around 9,000 women took the street in Sana'a Monday against the Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip, and called on Arab leaders to "open doors for Jihad."

The women carried placards condemning the Israeli attacks and the Arabs' "silence" towards those attacks.

"Open the door for Jihad ... Jihad is the solution," read one banner.

"Release the Arab weapons that have become rusty in depots," read another.

Organizers called the Arab leaders in a statement to "Open doors for Jihad and provide the Palestinian Mujahedeen with weapons." (dpa)
