The new Volvo S60 is going be priced at a starting rate of 23,395 Pounds, this was revealed in an announcement made by the manufacturer.
Expressed by Volvo as a four-door car, the new sedan is designed to take on the contemporary class-leader, the BMW 3 Series.
The series will begin with the D3 ES and elevate to the range-topping 36,745 Pounds T6 AWD SE Lux Geartronic Premium. Altogether, there are three trims and three engines to make a choice.
The engines consist of the known 203bhp D5 diesel, which averages 53.3mpg in the new S60 and energizes the car to 60mph in 7.8 seconds. There's also a new D3 diesel, which has 161bhp and averages 54.3mpg once coupled with a manual gearbox.
One can upgrade from entry-level ES to SE, which starts at 25,295 Pounds, and you can obtain smarter trim, an improved stereo system and bigger alloy wheels.
The range, which goes beyond SE Lux adds an electrically adaptable driver’s seat, leather-faced upholstery and active headlights that can bend.
Owners can also upgrade the top two trims with a Premium Pack, which consists of a DAB radio and an advanced audio system.
