U.S. President Will Discuss About His Vision for NASA

In an announcement to be made by President Obama will be promoting his vision for the human space flight program of the country on Thursday. It is known that the program was termed as devastating by three Apollo astronauts just two days back.

This will be for the first time that the president will be discussing in person for the first time at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, regarding the sweeping disturbance of the human spaceflight program of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. This program was disclosed the 2011 budget request by the President.

The termination of budget request that urged for the cancellation of Orion crew capsule, which initially was supposed to transport astronauts to the International Space Station and to moon after that is known as Constellation. It is stated the president will be proposing easier version of the Orion.

The request is to cancel the present program under which, the astronauts will be sent back to the Moon, and this will encourage the private companies to invest in transportation to orbit, that in turn will help in coming up with many different technologies for space research.

It was disclosed by a senior administration official that the President will be elaborating on the vision that opens the way to ambitions and therefore increases the frontier of the nation in space that aims at sending “humans to Mars.”
