Facebook is leaving no stone unturned in enhancing the online safety of its entire website.
The company revealed a redesigned part of its site Tuesday. This section of the site provides numerous users, parents, educators, and even law enforcement, with information from a board of organizations. This information is intended to upgrade the safety of the website to users who belong to varied age groups.
The section of the site is called as the Safety Center. The safety center is meant to provide information to everybody; however, it is designed especially for technologically un-savvy people, and works like a one stop spot offering a plethora of information.
With the help of the safety center users will be able to find step-by-step instructions on how to tackle impersonation on Facebook, measures to take to deal with unwanted messages, offensive Facebook groups and so on.
The section also gives information on action to take when a current or ex-spouse seizes control of one’s account or if another user seems suicidal and makes a threat to take his or her life. Facebook is offering a plentitude of resources to ensure the site remains safe for its users.
