Sidney House Full of Marijuana Cultivation but No People: RCMP
Marijuana Cultivation

RCMP unearthed a sophisticated marijuana produce operation in an unoccupied Sidney residence, however, has not been able to find out that who is behind the marijuana cultivation.

Sidney/North Saanich RCMP investigated a house in the 2200-block of Amherst Avenue after being informed by a neighbor about the same.

They found that 200 plants were in different stages of development and also found sophisticated grow tool.

The house had been raided on Tuesday afternoon by RCMP and saw that no one lived there.

An expert electrician helped officers owing to the dangers caused by the unlawful electric wiring.

Mounties removed the plants and tools and established that the house was vacant and was used exclusively to produce pot.

According to Cpl. Chris Swain, the region is inhabited by many families and young kids.
