The heads of Infinity Ward, Jason West and Vince Zampella officially launched Respawn Entertainment, their new studio.

However, the creation of this new studio has been followed by a few departures from the studio. One prominent employee to leave the studio is Senior Animator Bruce Ferriz. He has left the studio to join Big Red Button. It has been reported that 11 staff members have agreed to depart from the studio.

There has been widespread speculation relating to these departures and the impact this will have on the new studio.

The opinion of the 1UP community on the changes is that the studio will never be bereft of talent. The community believes that the departures do on affect that great a change to alter the very foundation of infinity ward.

The exit of the studio leader does also not impinge greatly on the studio since it does not necessarily mean that if one is a studio leader, one will also be a game developer. Moreover, even if all the members of Infinity Ward are to leave the studio, the concept of the studio will never die out. Its members will never extinguish.
