Ahmadinejad condemns Israel's supporters

Tehran - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Tuesday that all supporters of Israel would eventually go to hell, Fars news agency reported.

"Those who have openly or secretly tied their interests to the Zionists (Israel) should know that they will eventually go all together to hell," Ahmadinejad said in a speech in the parliament.

Tehran not only blamed Western nations and international organizations but also some of the Arab states for their silence over the Israeli raid on the Gaza Strip.

"The Zionists (Israel) and their masters believe that Gaza is the weak chain of the resistance movement and that they can compensate for their previous failures by attacking Gaza, but they are making a bad mistake," Ahmadinejad said.

"These raids will just be the prologue for the final collapse of the Zionists," the president added.

Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki also harshly attacked Israel in a meeting with foreign diplomats in Tehran, saying the resistance would continue.

"The Zionist leaders should forget that there will be an end to the Palestinian resistance and rather take this wish into their grave," Mottaki said.

Anti-Israel demonstrations continued throughout the country after tens of thousands of Iranians joined a state-organized demonstration Monday in Tehran and burnt the Israeli flag.

The demonstrators also called on the Arab world and international organizations to break their silence and initiate steps for an immediate end to the killing. (dpa)
