Yemeni protesters storm Egyptian consulate in Yemen

Sana'a, Yemen - Scores of protesters angry with Egypt backing the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip broke into the Egyptian consulate in the southern Yemeni port city of Aden Tuesday.

Witnesses said the protesters stormed the three-storey building and hoisted the Palestinian flag on the roof after they burned the Egyptian flag.

Protesters also ransacked furniture and broke windows of diplomatic cars parked in the back yard.

The official Saba news agency said 20 protesters of different Arab nationalities, including Palestinians, were arrested. Police said no one was injured. (dpa)
