A U. K. based woman Amanda Flowers, has been diagnosed with persistent genital disorder as she fell off her Wii Fit board and damaged her nerve.
Amanda shared that she had been suffering from sexual urges around 10 times per day after she had fell. A doctor approved her diagnosis.
"It began as a twinge down below, before surging through my body. Sometimes it built up into a trembling orgasm", Flowers said.
PGAD is essentially a relentless sexual arousal syndrome.
Dr. Sandra Leiblum, former Director of the Center for Sexual and Relationship Health at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey, explained that a patient suffering from the disease basically faces severe genital congestion and sensations.
In the Journal of Sexual Medicine, Leiblum wrote that the sexual activities can reinforce the sensations or gratify the patient’s urge temporarily.
She further explained that these sensations can last for more long hours or even many days. These conditions came to the forefront when the article appeared in "20/20".
