On Friday, Beyonce gave a pleasant surprise to all the fans who had gathered at the Coachella Music & Arts Festival in California, by showing up to perform during a set that was being taken care of by her husband Jay-Z.

The popular singer joined her husband for a rendition of "Young Forever", a track from Jay-Z's The Blueprint 3 album.

His wife was brought on stage by Jay-Z by telling the large crowd of fans, "Ladies and gentlemen, I wanna introduce y'all to someone super-duper special", and as Beyonce walked gracefully onto the stage, he added, "I'm not even gonna say the name. I'm gonna let her speak for herself".

The song, which came in the middle of a lengthy encore, came to a close with a round of fireworks.

Jay-Z's set in the festival was inclusive of performances of "Run This Town", "99 Problems", "Jockin' Jay-Z", and many other of the renowned star's popular tracks.

The performance put forward by Jay-Z and Beyonce was praised by the entire crowd, including Paris Hilton, who also Tweeted about the festival. Her Tweet said, “Coachella Rocks! Jay Z was amazing! So much fun with my sis and all my girls! :)”.

Katy Perry was also reportedly quite happy.
