Stuttgart - VfB Stuttgart have hired midfield talent Timo Gebhart from second-division 1860 Munich with immediate effect, the Bundesliga club announced on Tuesday.

Gebhart, 19, comes to Stuttgart on a contract until 2013. The transfer fee for the under-19 European champion has been estimated at 3 million euros (4.3 million dollars). (dpa)
