Mercedes has at last exposed its Shooting Break conception car before time of its inauguration at the Auto China motor show slated to take place later in this week.

Though publicly portrayed as a concept car, what you are actually looking at is the novel CLS, which will be put on sale in the spring of year 2011. The concept car's initial information gives the major clues to the look of the subsequent CLS.

Mercedes stated that it will keep a close look at public response to the Shooting Break at the Chinese show before it makes any decision to put the car into manufacture process.

Nonetheless, Mercedes sources have stated that you can look forward to seeing a similar-looking CLS manufacture model that is going to be revealed at the Paris motor show in the autumn.

Mercedes has gone through the similar procedure earlier as well. It unveiled its Concept Fascination concept car at the Paris motor show in the year 2008, which was a forerunner to the E-Class Coupe.

The four-seater Shooting Break, thus, is ready to turn the CLS into a competitor to the likes of the BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo.
