Images Captured on Student Laptops

It has been reported that a minimum of about 56000 pictures taken through webcams and also screenshots from the laptops which were issued to the high school students were captured in the Pa. district. It was made very clear that some of the photographs were those that were caught at their homes.

It was announced that the photographs were captured with the help of a program which was incidentally used to find computers that are missing.

The enquiry was first made after a student Blake Robbins had filed a suit due to these tracking practices and it was uncovered that as many as 400 pictures were taken in a span of 15 days and it was also reported that many screenshots too were being taken of the instant messages and even the video chats that were going on.

It was not that Robbins was alone captured; the people with whom he chatted with were also captured and spied upon even when they did not have anything to do with the school or even the district. The interesting fact was that he had never complained or filed that his laptop was missing and still he was being spied upon.
