Police Raided and Busted Major Marijuana Growth

Police reports of shutting down a major marijuana operation. The estimated amount of the marijuana seized is approximately $2 million. The raid has led to the arrest of four people.

It has been stated that so far, it has been the largest discovered operation in the Edmonton area.

Investigators with the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams have been on a continuous search and have successfully found around 2,000 marijuana plants and $60,000 worth of growing equipment along with industrial air conditioners and lights. They have also discovered illegal bypasses which help in stealing basic necessities of water and electricity.

All the three raided sites have been found to have connections with one main group which has the capacity to manufacture one million marijuana jointly.

The names of the alleged people are Lee Roy Simpson, 52, Robert Stan Kuspira, 63, Sherry May Prins, 43 and Charlotte Janice Simpson, 52. The charges which have been applied on the culprits are of stealing water and electricity and production and possession of marijuana for the intentions of trafficking.

It is being urged to the native people to report of any suspected growth operation running in their neighborhood.
