7 Sacramento Residents Arrested in Indoor Marijuana Bust

It has been reported that seven Sacramento-area inhabitants, alleged in two covered marijuana-growing acts have been arrested by authorities.

According to the Drug Enforcement Administration, agents confiscated about over 4,300 plants, hard cash and one vehicle at the time of cleaning, which took about two days.

On Thursday, it was stated by Gordon Taylor, a special agent with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, that agents had also confiscated about $82,000 in cash, at the time of raid.

According to Taylor, the marijuana producers bypassed electric meters to steal electricity, so that they could escape complicated business inside their homes.

The inquiry of the first act, in the Sacramento suburb of Elk Grove by authorities is said to have begun in November, while the second inquiry began after a month.

It has been reported that six individuals were under arrest on doubts of scheming to cultivate and produce at least 1,000 marijuana plants, and for intentionally sustaining a place for marijuana production.

One man faced allegations for producing at least 1,000 plants.

According to the DEA, the two growing businesses had the potential to manufacture almost 2 tons of marijuana every year.
