Unveiling the climate bill tomorrow, US Senator John F. Kerry will be proud, injecting a huge amount of funds in the industry, thereby contributing to the reduction of greenhouse emissions.
Kerry has not only managed to get the business to the forefront but also marked history by giving way to a bipartisan agreement with the Republican leaders.
Senator Lindsey Graham, the South Carolina Republican, who had supported Kerry on the issue, all of a sudden gave up last night explaining that he at once realized that the Senate shall proceed with the immigration bill ahead of this one.
He further said that in the wake of the panic on the controversies arousing out of the immigration bill, it will be useless preceding the climate bill.
“I know from my own personal experience the tremendous amounts of time, energy, and effort that must be devoted to this issue to make even limited progress’’, he added.
In a similar attempt, Senate majority leader Harry Reid also opined that the immigration bill should be the first priority. But Reid also said that the climate bill is important too.
