It has been announced by Vodafone that the Google Nexus One phone will be made available for pre-order in stores from 30 April, at its own branded page at www. vodafone. co. uk/nexusone. Ironically, this was announced a few hours after it was rumored that Nexus One has been delayed in U. K.
Manufactured by HTC, Nexus One, is loaded with Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon processor. It also has 3.7in 480x800-pixel AMOLED screen. The phone initially, was launched in January this year.
For trail session, the phone will be offered with a free of cost 24-month contract. This will price the handset £35 per month with 600 minutes for calling, plus unlimited text messages. Other contracts that the phone will provide include some starting at range of £25 per month.
It has also been informed that with the contracts, 1GB of mobile data will be provided with additional 1GB of data users opting for handset's Wi-Fi connection, at premium BT Openzone hotspots across UK.
Other features that the Google Nexus One will encompass are pre-installed Google Maps Navigation beta application for free. This application was launched last week, and it provides Android-based mobile users to enjoy a subsequent voice and visual navigation.
