According to a study, six out of ten children 5-16 age group assert that they are cheerful and more comfortable when their mother is driving.
Teenagers say that their dads drive on high speed, are more belligerent and lose their temper easily when sitting behind the wheel.
They also believe that mothers are less liable to experience road temper, don't move in and out of traffic and have a more understanding attitude towards other drivers.
The GEM Motoring Assist survey of 1,279 children found that mother's driving is excellent, in spite of the reality she is more liable to halt the car or find it difficult to park the vehicle.
David Williams MBE, CEO of GEM, a breakdown cover and road safety organization, said, "The research shows that while mum might not be the most skilled driver, she is certainly the most calm”.
Sadly, several children appear to fear getting in the car with fathers since his mood is volatile and they can never discern when he is likely to suffer from road rage.
The research also revealed that children do not like heir daddies getting impatient when driving and 83% said that most often he drives on a high-speed.
Whereas 70% of kids said that mother sings while driving and 52% said that she chats non-stop with them.
